| MPI # 133 Dry Fall, Water Based, for Galvanized Steel, Flat (MPI Gloss Level 1) | ||||
| A water based coating, designed for direct application to cleaned, interior galvanized metal ceiling surfaces and adjacent primed metals. Overspray will dry to a sweepable powder over a short distance for easier clean up. Specified for use in non-chemical and in non-humid environments such as warehouses. Minimum recommended surface preparation for galvanized surfaces is a solvent cleaning and test for chromate passivation, with an SSPC SP 7 Brush-off blast cleaning if required. It is recommended that smooth, spangle galvanized metals receive a SSPC SP 7 cleaning. Application methods include: airless and/or conventional spray equipment. Note: Chemical-etching cleaners such as MPI # 25 may be substituted for solvent washing and SSPC-SP 7 cleaning. (Gloss @ 60°: 5 units maximum). | ||||
